In regards to Mike's news post IMO using unshielded AC power distribution lines for networking is a horrible idea. Especially power lines up on poles for the local community AC power grid. The interference (EMI) to shortwave radio bands will have a very negative impact on aircraft, marine, military, ham radio, etc. users.
I hope this never happens!
