I think the picture describes my situation pretty well...
The TV looks great playing blueray from the ps3, looks great playing vhs or dvd from my old player (color wise), and looks great with the cable line plugged directly into the tv, but when i try to run it through this box, it looks like the screen shot. Even when I manually adjust the colors, it still looks as if it can't reproduce dark colors. Some things are all shiny, though sky looks pretty good. I've tried running the SA straight to the TV and through a receiver, and it still looks bad. I've tried it on three different HDMI cables, and it still looks bad.
Any ideas?
