My two channel system is simple compared to what I on see here.
- tiny home assembled computer with solid state drive as server
- Benchmark Dac/Pre
- Carver 705 bi-amped
- Sunfire CRS-3 TRIO Speakers
- Polk Micropro 1000 sub
I decided to upgrade my sub, and have ordered the antimode 8033s you guys are talking about, and the Polk 4000. I have no idea why as things sound great already.
Yall have me excited about it all !! I believe the 8033s will be a very good addition for me as my set up is in an outdoor addition I built on to my deck. I don't try to entertain the yard, just me in my old chair. That 8033s will have to work hard to help out here.
The Benchmark/pre has stereo output and the Polk sub has stereo input. I have split the cables after the pre to the amp, and so the main speakers and the sub get full range.
When I hook in the 8033s, there will just be one rca cable coming out. Do I split that for the Polk sub l/r, or just plug in the one cable to either the left or the right?
I have learned so much from you guys, but as you can see - not enough.
