I doubt its a random thing. Two reasons I can think of:
1. There is a problem with the LED driver board.
2. The green LED is overheating, maybe due to a fan #3 problem, or the heat sinks are loaded with dust.
So the LED itself may not be dead. Needs more troublshooting.
I'm assuming it's the LED driver board. I've already replaced it once.
Unfortunately I can't find a single one on the internet. I found a forum on AVS saying that BP96-01803A would be a compatible part number. Before I pull the trigger, is that right?
