The TV product registered below is guaranteed to operate properly according to manufacturer’s specifications for a period of 3 additional years from the expiration of the manufacturer’s warranty or we shall repair same to operate properly. This service contract must be purchased within thirty (30) days of the date the equipment hereunder is purchased. You must register this warranty within thirty (30) days with Mack Camera by visiting us at our website www.mackcam.com or by calling us toll free at 1-800-252-MACK (6225) or 973-467-2291.

To arrange for in home service or if you have any questions regarding the service of your unit please email us at localservice@mackcam.com or call our service contract department at 1-(800)252-6225. If a local service center is not available in your area, the unit must be returned prepaid to Mack Camera & Video Service for repair. Units that are smaller than 32” may not qualify for In-Home Service and must be carried in to a local service center or shipped prepaid to Mack Camera & Video Service.

The equipment will be restored to proper operating condition at no charge to you (this includes warranted parts and labor for manufacturer defects). Such service, repair, adjustment of the equipment is assured the registered contract holder, provided the equipment has not been tampered with, modified, damaged as a result of liquid, grit, power surge, burn-in, impact and physically broken parts. This service contract only covers a unit malfunction. Customer maintenance is not covered. Mack Camera & Video Service reserves the right to terminate service contracts if invoices are not paid within terms or are fraudulently altered by the dealers or service contract holder.

This limited service contract applies only to the product specified herein. It does not cover lamps, wall mounts, accessory speakers, wiring, remotes, dismount, installation and additional accessories or other expenses of consequential damages.

Mack Camera and Video Service will not be liable for loss of revenues or profits, inconvenience, expense of substitute equipment, loss of incidental or consequential damages. If the unit can not be repaired by Mack Camera or the Manufacturer for manufacturer’s defects, replacement will be made with the same or equivalent model based on the contracted unit current market value at our discretion. This service contract is not transferable.

This service contract is not an insurance policy or a warranty. This service contract is only valid if positive identification of the unit covered hereunder is presented at the time of service.

This service contract is only valid in the continental U.S.A.

A separate bulb service contract is available.

Also watch Casino Royal BD last night for the 1st time. Excellent movie.
With all of Lee's recommendations minus the DB - settings, and with Dynamic contrast low for an extra punch throughout most of the movie thinking that without it the PQ was a bit dull and this was fun for awhile.

But then decided to switch DC off toward the last few scenes..and wow...I felt that I was actually in Italy looking at those scenes through my own naked eyes.

It was like comparing the same professionally shot photo displayed on a good plasma against a National Geographic post processed print. The print will look dull by comparison but far more realistic.

I have Dish Network as my satellite provider, but my local channels are not included. I have an indoor antenna for these channels, and it works fine for about 50% of them. However, occasionally I get the message "Weak or No signal", and it keeps going on and off.

What do you recommend for my local channels? An outdoor/attic antenna, some thing to boost the signal, or a different indoor antenna?

The 61a750 and 67a750 are the exact same TV except for sizes.

So the same changes to the primary/secondary colors and grey scale will be similar across the board.

The only real differences are the environments people have their TVs in, causing variances in user satisfaction.

I d/led the 1920x1200 one and kept looking at all the shadows as I adjusted gamma (with all other settings as Lee posted). I ended up sticking with gamma "0", but got into a compulsive loop for a few minutes before I settled.

And good luck finding ANY TV warranty that will cover power surges. They won't. That is what the equipment replacement warranty coverage from a surge protector company is for. My APC surge protector covers some ridiculous dollar value amount of equipment when the equipment is connected to the protector. I actually filed a claim for a stereo years ago. The surge protector was toast. I got a new surge protector and about $500 for my OLD stereo.

I have NO idea how good Mack warranties are because this will be my first. I will say that I emailed Brian Poole (sp?) a small list of questions and his answers were prompt and perfect. He will get my money for a 5yr extended warranty. By the way, that extention will start after my 15 month Samsung warranty expires (3 extra months on the OEM warranty by registering the TV online).

And for the person asking about Best Buy warranties a couple pages back...AVOID them like the plague! Speaking from personal experience. I haven't bought anything more than an occasional DVD from them in over 5 years. The day that Circuit City announced their demise was a sad day for local B&M purchases.
