Well, the best I can say to that would be that...uhm.
Basically, the W Series may be 8-bit, but, it's probably going to be pretty close to the same PQ as the A550, but having the 120Hz MotionFlow slapped in to there, it may probably be worth it at the end, if you plan on using some of those extra bells and whistles. It's good to know that it's a good alternative to the A650, in some regards, since the MSRP is about $500 less, and even tho it's 8-bit, there's still plenty of bells and whistles to make it worth it, I'm quite sure... We'll need to see this side-by-side with the A650, in order to see what they'll both have in pros and cons. All in all, if a matte screen is your thing, you probably won't be TOO disappointed, but with all set aside, it'll be worth watching to see what happens. Let's just say, it's a good "go between" model between the A550 and A650, and has the features you'd expect for being priced right in the middle of those two, and from a different brand.
