Handbrake setting for H.264 for PS3 and AppleTV?

I have an Apple TV V2.X and PS3 . I would like to use Handbrake to rip my DVDs and create a library - Handbrake works fine with iTunes on my Mac Pro to share to my Apple TV but my PS3 doesn't seem to work with the H.264 files.

Any suggestions on settings for H.264 files that will work with AppleTV/ITunes and PS3 + a UPNP sharing service ?

thanks.

No one responded. It's my question too though. If you just use the PS3 preset on Handbrake, that will at least play on the PS3 right???

Are you playing the files from the PS3 or streaming them? The PS3 will play quite a bit of H.264 formats if played directly from the PS3 (unfortunately it won't play the Apple TV preset). I've had almost zero luck streaming files to the PS3. I'm looking for a preset that will output files that will play on xbox 360, ps3, apple tv, and my pioneer tv, which will also play media files. So far the PS3 preset with some tweaking has been the best but I haven't tested it on an apple tv yet.

I've installed TwonkyMedia on my MacPro (a UPNP server) to serve the same .m4v films I have created with HandBrake. Everything works great with iTunes serving to my AppleTV but when I try to use the UPNP client on my PS3 it recognizes the films as AVC format but when I click on them it says "unsupported format".
