Ok, so I have to apologize up front, I know there is an SR11 owners thread but it's huge! Finding what I want, if its there, will take up a huge amount of time sifting through all the comments.
I've been debating between teh HF100 and the SR11 for a couple of weeks now and it looks like the SR11 will be in my pocket tomorrow, in the end the viewfinder won me over. Such a small difference but they seem to be so well matched.
My questions is what accessories should I be getting, what is a need, what's a should and what is just plain luxury. My funds are limited so I'd like to space out the purchases. This will be primarily for home family videos with a number of amateur videos for the local church, school, training sessions, etc...
I'd like to get into the editing side of things more and more but right now I'm strictly an entry level amateur.
So tomorrow I'll be getting the camera and the bag....on my short list is an extra battery and trypod. What else should I be considering, if anything?
Any recommendations on the bag and tripod? Thanks,
