DD+ and DTS bitstreaming issues

I'm taking a poll here to troubleshoot an issue.

It's been reported on the DUAL FORMAT players forum of an issue with the BH 200 properly bitstreaming a DD+ or DTS-HD (not MA) signal to a receiver, the results of which are a "helicopter" or "lawn mower" noise created because the receiver is not identifying the DD+/DTS-HD signal and defaulting to PCM.

Now i'm curious if anyone with the other bitstreaming HD DVD players (a35,xa2, onkyo) has experienced this problem bitstreaming those codecs and if you have, what receivers are you bitstreaming to?

I was doing some audio tests with the HD-DVD version of Stardust from my Toshiba HD-A35 to an Onkyo TX-SR605 when the horrible "helicopter" sound you speak of filled the room. It only happened once during my tests. What was strange was that the intro video from Paramount played fine but the menu started, the noise was present. I thought it would correct itself once I started the movie but the noise was still there. I had to reset the player for it to properly bitstream the DD+ soundtrack to the receiver over the HDMI cable. I was using FW 2.0 when this happened. It must have been a "handshake" problem as I have only had this happen one time.

I've experienced some dropouts Bitstreaming DD+ to my Pioneer Elite VSX-92TXH. Transformers and The Chronicles of Riddick are the only two discs I've tried so far. I also recall reading something about Pioneer Elite units having trouble with DD+ bitstreams. I'm not sure if it was addressed in a firmware update or not. My player is an A35 so I just set it to decode the audio tracks but it's nice being able to see what track is being played.
