Also: is it better to allow the 5020 to deal with the up-scaling, and if so, is there a way to have the video signal pass through the Sony STRDG920 without it doing the up-scaling? I want to run everything through the receiver and have a single HDMI cable take the video signal to the 5020, unless I'll be doing a disservice to my viewing pleasure!
See the 1st post of this thread. Basically you will:
1. Copy the break-in images to a flash drive
2. Set the 5020 to the sport settings in that 1st post
3. Through Home Media Gallery, run a slide-show of all the break-in images at 30 sec intervals. Be sure to make it repeat.
DO NOT use the sport settings for watching regular TV. They are to be used for the break-in only.
I can't say about the receiver but i would assume there is a way to turn off receiver upscaling. This would probably be the way to go.
