Basically i am very very satisfied with the performance of the TV. However i have one gripe, and maybe it is because i do not have the official remote control but i can't seem to enable dot by dot anywhere! When i hook my PC up, the desktop at a resolution 1920x1080p is not displayed in its fullest, ie the edges are clipped. I found a way around this, by enabling PC as the "singal type" under "Input Setup". This however ruins the image as i am only able to tweak the contrast and colors R,G and B.
Having just come from the Sony hx909, i also noticed that when displaying content from my PS3 (movies/games) it also feels like dot by dot is not on. My theory proved to be true when i tested a game by changing the "signal type" from both video to PC. When switched to PC, the field of vision in the first person game i was testing was larger, consequently as a result i imagine of dot by dot being enabled in the PC "signal type".
When i check the current status of the input i am currently on, it states this:
Full1(pretty sure this is the one i have to change)
If anyone could so kindly give any insight into this i would greatly appreciate it!
