This question just came up in my mind recently and I couldn't find the answer because these displays are relatively old and the reviews of those days weren't as detailed as they are nowadays, and searching between 2-3 years old forum posts is very difficult, so I try to ask it here:
Are these Pioneer 9G plasma displays able to reproduce the full chroma map resolution from an YCC 4:4:4 input signal?
I don't ask if they simply accept 4:4:4, as every displays have to accept it. But do they drop half of the chroma pixels during the image processing as 2010-11 Panasonic and Samsung (except in PC mode, for the latter) PDPs do?
