plasma question

when i went to best buy yesterday to pick up my plasma the guy who brought it out had it standing up instead of flat. as in the box was vertical and horizontal on his hand truck. is that a no no with plasma or will it be ok?

That shouldn't be a problem. You need to be cautious if you lay it flat though as that's when it's most susceptible to breaking the glass, but even that can be done without doing any damage.

what im saying is when you sit the tv down the box is horizontal like this



sorry its a crap drawing im on my laptop with only paint.

It should be ok if he had it standing on end on the hand-truck, unless he went down a flight of stairs like that

On a delivery truck, they are supposed to be transported in the upright position and not laying flat.

thanks for the heads up. i knew the dont lay it flat thing, but i was just wondering this is my first plasma for my " man room" ive only had dlp before.
