No I didnt contact him about it. I just assumed there wasnt a return policy for calibrations. He showed me the differences while he was here and my reaction was kinda the same, but usually I cant make an objective decision until i spend a lot of time with it myself after the fact and go back through all of it. And at that point I had gotten on here and researched other peoples experiences to see maybe if I was just missing something. So I dunno, I guess I was under the impression that if there wasnt that big of a difference then it must have been pretty close before hand, so I just didnt say anything about it. Probably a mistake on my part. Having said that, I just put in Dexter Season 3 on BD, something I'm familiar with, and went back and forth between the settings. I started with ISF day, which is what I always have it on, and went to ISF night, and then to Pure. Maybe I'm crazy, I just cant see a difference. I paused in a section with a shot of dexter sitting in a chair, and you could see his striped blue shirt very well, and a close up of his face. I cycled through the modes, trying to compare differences in brightness, color, etc. The only thing I could see was that ISF day is a little brighter than ISF night. ISF night and Pure look exactly the same, Pure is what I was using before calibration. I mean dont get me wrong, I'm not saying that it looks bad at all. Maybe I'm just retarded I dunno.
