No, that's definitely a stuck pixel.
A dead pixel is consistently black, while a stuck pixel is intermittently responsive, or stuck on one color all the time. I understand that you feel Pioneer should "do" something about it, but it's not repairable, and it is in fact considered a normal part of the technology. You're likely to just get a lot of frustration seeking redress from them. Honestly, I would suggest you wait a few days and see if it resolves itself, and if not, try going to your dealer about it. If they can help you out, that will be infinitely easier than trying to go through the drawn-out warranty process with Pioneer.
