First impression is very positive! I have tried a couple of Blurays (Quantum of Solace and How to train your dragon), some ps3 games and Direct tv. It gives you a sharper image without any side effects. I'm using the Hd setting at 45 to 55 percent. You can use demo mode to see a side by side comparison or when you turn the darbee off you can notice the difference. It's not night and day as these kuros are already exceptional, but it adds a little more pop and clarity to the picture. How to train your dragon really looked astonishing. I think it lends itself the best to high quality hd feeds. Direct tv looks a little bit sharper, but it does depend on the content and how good the feed is on DTV. Gaming was also enhanced I tried Dark souls and madden 13 and there is definitely a sharper image to my eyes. So far I would say its 269 bucks well spent, but I want to keep running it through the ringer. I would imagine the bigger the screen the better the impact, but on the 500m it's definitely noticeable. I would say if you are on the fence, for the price it's definitely worth strong consideration.
