This is a very valid point, as the PS3 is an excellent Blu-ray player.
I own an original 60GB version, and the reason I relegated it back
to game playing only, was because the jet like noise the fan produces.
So, currently I own a Pioneer BDP-51FD which has worked flawlessly
for me. Loading times and disc detection times are on the slow side
but from a videophile standpoint it's top notch. Although, I must say
the new OPPO Blu-ray player looks very interesting. I am trying
desperately to become part of their EAP.
