I have been playing with an idea of what to go on the stage and such these are two ideas I have until i get going on the project a Jawa and a yoda But im not sure on which yoda to go with yet
I have abandoned the macquarrie vader luke for another diorama idea.

This has the potential to be incredible! Strong work so far . How will your kiddo get to the secret room below? Do I see a door on the left side there?

I'm in the market for a full sized Yoda myself. Just need to find the perfect spot for him in the basement.

The center cut out area of the front wall looks pretty small, are you going to have a screen drop down in front of everything?

This is freaking cool....I"m a major star wars nerd so I'll be watching....I have two shih tzus named Luke and Anakin.....Always good for a few stares at the vet....

The lightsabers will be wired to a setting switch they shut off automatically after 2 minutes. I am still working on the columns,
On a side note, I have been working on the tray ceiling idea in which I will Scratch Build a Star Destroyer portion so you are looking up in the tray and see part of the ship coming- just an idea im kicking around here is an image to get a better idea.



I also been brainstorming of possibly scratch building Palpatine landing pad for docking bay for symetry of the middle to replace the original macquarrie Luke figures under the Main Screen. I always love that version and seeing I will be building docking bay for the falcon I will have parts already cast
scale will be an issue to include a vader tie as well.


To answer your question about the screen, I am not really an audiophile I am opting for a nice lcd or plasma not a drop down the screen size will be 52"

As far as the Noahs room under the falcon there will be a secret door behind a bookcase and another secret passage through the bookcase in the Main Library which is the entrance to the media room.

With all of the great detail that you are putting into this set-up I'd vote for a drop-down screen. It would match very nicely with the staging area that you are planning. Others have gotten pretty good deals on ebay for a motorized screen.

Ill look into it, though I am mainly looking for a LCD Plazma seeing we shoot most of our movies upstairs in the great room at a 18foot screen

I like how he used the views of the city as the false windows in the theater. Can't wait to see more progress on your build. I think all of us with the non themed theaters are always a bit jealous of the ones that can go hardcore like that

best themed room on here since the raptor room that hasn't been updated in a while. very cool stuff. i thought about this on a smaller scale as i've seen a 2.5ft vader at one time that i really liked and also the right scale r2-d2 and yoda, but i can't find that vader online anymore. as far as the tv, i say go with a 50" or 60" elite kuro, i'm loving mine.

When reading the first post with the pictures, I was thinking..."oh man what a nerd". HOWEVER, scrolling down I see the actual construction pics. This is really cool. Congrats on having the creativeness in moving forward on this project. I like it. I also liked the idea of having sound added to the light sabers when turning on the lights...that would be cool.

Congrats again. Awesome work so far.

In my opinion, you should lose the red and go with gray/light blue/black. Darth Maul was a character, not a location.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who names their pets with a theme. Awhile back my girlfriend and I were going to get two puppies (ended up moving to New Zealand instead) and I wanted to name them Malak and Revan after Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, and she wouldn't let me.
