It looks like a lot (all?) of the movies they're selling are the UK versions. You might be better off just getting them from amazon.co.uk.

Where do you see that? -I was looking at the Harry Potter 1-6 set.

Re: Bluflick.com

Several of the discs have UK ratings stickers on the front, Planet Earth is the 5 disc version only available from UK sources, Zulu/Stardust/The Island and a couple others are not available in the US at all (yet).

That doesn't mean all are from UK. HP Set lists "HP and the Sorcerer's Stone" which in the US title where the UK set should be Philosopher's Stone -- it could still be a misprint, but that would suggest it's is the US set.

The covers of a lot of the movies are the UK versions (the ratings in the corners are a tell-tale sign). Also, there are several movies that have never been released on BD in the US (Once, Zidane, the Top Gears).

The prices are somewhat reasonable, and from what I know, the box sets that they have are region free anyways, so it certainly shouldn't hurt anything to buy from them. But you may want to double-check with them before ordering. If they are the UK versions, you can get slightly better prices by ordering directly from Amazon UK for most titles.

Pre-orders are not "deals" or "buy x get y free". Coupons or discount codes are relevant. Amazon pre-order prices are not fixed. We already have a pre-order thread. Thanks.

To those that have ordered from gohastings, do the used titles come in like new condition, with original blu ray cases and artwork? Any stickers on the cases, sharpie writing on the discs?

Thanks in advance!

I haven't really kept track between used/previewed, but I have got ones with the round center sticker and with the sticker removed. A warning about the ones with the removed round center sticker: The sticky glue left by the sticker can keep your disc stuck in your player , especially if you leave the disc in for some time (like overnight). I always clean the glue off with mineral spirts, then windex, to avoid just that. Trust me, I've had to disassemble my player to get stuck discs out before.

I've also got a few with zerox copy artwork in generic rental boxes.

Assuming previously viewed are old rental copies as mentioned, expect the round center sticker on the disc and possibly a generic box with zerox artwork. Though most with the center rental sticker have come in the original box and artwork.

I personally don't care about the artwork and box as much as the disc condition, and all of the ones I've got have been very good to new looking (previewed or used).

The "Used" titles usually are in very good condition with the original cases and artwork -- some look virtually new, but all are in pretty acceptable condition for most people though certainly not perfect. I guess some of the extra paper/ads/firmware update sheets from inside the case might be missing, but since most BR have minimal useful inserts I've not noticed anything missing.

I've ordered about 10 of these from gohastings and generally I;m on the picky side about acceptable quality - a touch compulsive about it to be honest and I have a hard time ordering anything used. If I see a stray ingerprint I want to make sure it's mine (and even those are rare on any of my discs).

The Previewed/Ex-Rentals for the most part look like ex-rentals in all their glory usually with glue/tape/sticker/scuffs/scratches and random boxes. Luckily BR tend to be reasonably scratch resistant so for those that throw away everything but the disc and use other storage methods they might be OK after a Goo-gone and Alcohol cleaning. For my money I won't buy these and consider them unacceptable to even sit on my shelf or (shudder) put inside any of my players.

I've ordered previously viewed from Hastings before and aside from a sticker on the inner part of the disc on the top..they've been fine, complete with case and artwork.
