Correct, you can't stack 'em., it's in this link> http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpa...18309201&iht=n

Bring in your DVD to Customer Service and receive a $5 coupon toward one of the select Blu-ray movies below. One coupon per DVD. Limit 5 per visit. Only one coupon can be used per Blu-ray purchase. Your original DVD must have been commercially packed and with the original case. Adult content DVDs not accepted. See more details at a Best Buy store.

FYI: no case, no dice.

I went into the 2 local BBs today with DVDs and the original art work/jacket but without the case (I keep all BDs, DVDs & CDs in Case logic binders) and I was turned down both times. Guess I have to hunt me down some DVD cases now. YMMV

I'm not seeing Cpt America 3d or Cars 2 3d... in search results.

Did they even have decent prices? Looks like most 3d blus are pretty typical $30ish.

If nobody has noticed... There is a Disney Movie Rewards item for a $20 Disney Store gift card that only "costs" 750 points.

IF you buy a lot of Disney movies, 750 points isn't hard to get... and the $20 gift card can be used in a Disney Store or online... and I noted some of the Marvel movies (like Thor, Captain America) are available at Disney Store online.

Limited to one gift card per DMR account... but it is "free" money if you collect a lot of movies... and $20 almost buys you a Blu-ray movie free and clear.

Thanks. Ordered one, but 6-8 weeks for delivery? Wow.

Anyone have a list of Blu-rays that qualifies for the pre-order trade-in deal at Moviestop?

So far, I know that Devil, Inception, and Shutter Island qualify, but the latest Robin Hood movie doesn't.

It changes frequently for example Devil may qualify today but may not tomorrow or next week.

I know as of last week the following qualified:
A-Team, Kick Ass, The Fighter and the Expendables.

The following qualified the week prior to last:
Avatar and Faster

There's probably a ton more that qualifies but these are what worked for me.
I know that Get Him to the Greek does Not qualify.

Thanks, but going forward please do not repost time stamp updates on titles. Once the deal is posted, ppl can check inventory on their own from that point on.

does Overstock allow you to cancel pre-orders on Blu-rays?...I pre-ordered Cars 2 3D but noticed that there is no longer an option to cancel the order...if I find a cheaper price I would like the option to cancel

I wish I knew if this worked in Region A, or 1, whatever... the US (and it doesn't look like it). But Sound of Music is 5 pounds on Amazon UK.

According to liesinc Blu-Ray info, it is region-free:

Some cheap examples. Ferris Buellers' Day Off and Boondock Saints are both on sale for $10 each right now. Trade in any old DVD, get $5 coupons that come off the sale price...so I walked out with both of those movies for $5 each.

If you're like me and have plenty of old DVDs that I already upgraded to HD-DVD or blu-ray, there are some decent deals there.

You can only do 5 trade-ins per day.

Here's a link to the list of movies that are valid for to use the $5 coupons on:

Anyone know if this special ends this week?

I had to go searching elsewhere to find the answer, but looks like it expires 10/29/2011. So if this week's group of sale movies don't appeal to you, maybe the next 2 weeks will have something better. From what I can see, it'll always be the same 140 movies eligible, but maybe different ones will be on sale in the next 2 weeks, making the extra $5 a great deal.

Well, here is an update.

Qualify:
The Town
Grown-ups

DO NOT Qualify:
Walk Hard
Eagle Eye
The Vampire's Assistant Cirque du Freak
Couples Retreat
Eat Pray Love
Sex and the City 1 and 2
Old Dogs

Also, they wouldn't take my copy of The Expendables since it was a single disc version that I got from BB and they only had the 3 disc version in their computer system.

I apologize if this isn't relevant to deals, but I thought that I'd give a heads up.

May have been mentioned but Best Buy has a $7.99 blu-ray bin. I was able to get "Contact" which was on my "buy" list forever. There were several I had to resist. Better selection than what I was expecting.

Pulp Fiction is down to $12.99 on Amazon.

I was at our BB store yesterday. The bin contains all the $7.99 Blu-rays on their website.

Can you trade in ANY DVD and get a $5 off coupon?

Yes, as long as it is in it's original packaging. I even traded in a Blu-ray I had a duplicate of.

I would like to buy the Sound of Music too, but when you go to the Amazon UK site it says Region 2 and may not play in other regions. Anyone know if this will play in the US?
Thanks

I dunno if I asked on this thread (maybe it's been taken out) but this website (http://bluray.liesinc.net/index.php?region=b) says it's region free. I haven't gotten my copy yet so I can't confirm.

The Crow is $11.30 @ Deep Discount right now. Free shipping too. Almost $4 cheaper than Amazon.

Moviestop has altered their deal. They were planning on upping the trade in requirement from $4 value to $4.50, which would basically make all of the 5 for $20 Blockbuster movies not qualify. However, they instead kept it at $4 and made the deal work where you only get enough credit to get the single Blu-ray instead of being able to just choose whatever version that you want. Suppossedly, you can pay the difference to get the better version if you want. I've got 8 movies to turn in, so I am going to do that today while they are still having a deal at all.

EDIT: Also, they are being annoying and not letting you trade in the same title twice now. Before they were, so I thought that I mention that.
