I snagged some good ones last year on Black Friday for $5 each, and I have seen the Black Friday flyer for this year; they should be dumping a lot of them for 5 bucks again next week.

The one I'm looking for a good deal on right now is the Jurassic Park Trilogy on Blu-Ray; if anyone sees a great deal on that one let me know, thanks!

Amazon will have it on sale next week but don't know for how much:

In addition to these deals we'll have The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (Blu-ray) and Jurassic Park Trilogy (Blu-ray), plus Bridesmaids, King's Speech, X-Men: First Class, and more on DVD and Blu-ray on sale all week.

I'll simplify it for you poop, do you think it makes sense or is at all logical to have TWO Blu Ray deals threads? Yes or No.

Please move on....this isn't a debate. Post here or don't post in this thread. We've added a whole new "deals" sub forum, plus we've decided to keep this thread going for now. If you don't like the new set up, please post your displeasure in the operations forum. This thread isn't for such posts.

If you look above you'll see the reasoning for adding the new sub forum and my personal preference.

That may be the best deal yet, too bad they don't have it in my local Target. They also add tax to online sales. I wonder what they charge for shipping to Orlando, I can't tell without putting in my card info. These big box retailers are beating Ebay's prices on this item.

Does target price match their online prices?

They were also carrying Spartacus:Gods of the arena Blu Ray priced at $3.99 earlier, but no longer avaialable online. if you look it up online, you'll see 3.99 show up for just a second, before it changes to "available in stores".

I just took advantage of this sale but I'm a bit confused. Is this the week long sale price that amazon mentions at the top of their Black Friday Deals Week page? They make it sound like, to me at least, that it doesn't start until tomorrow. I don't want to find out that this is a teaser sale and they drop the price even lower tomorrow. Can someone clarify?

Target does not price match. I tried at the A/V counter and checked with customer service. Jurassic Park Trilogy ended up being $36.52 with tax and shipping.

However, I picked up Star Gate, T2 Skynet Edition and 3:10 to Yuma for $4.75 each.

They just dropped (this morning) the price by $28. I don't think they are going lower. Even if it does go a little lower tomorrow, it shouldn't deter you because your order won't ship before tomorrow anyway. This was a day one purchase for me so I'm not bothered either way.

At BestBuy for $50 in store.

Give Best Buy a try for the Price match (Jurassic Trilogy). You just might get lucky.
Got mine PM'd without a problem.

Target should match Target.com prices, just as Best Buy and Wal-Mart match their own website price. Otherwise, their in-store pickup service would make no sense. However, they will not match other online retailers (read: Amazon).
I asked the sales clerk and the customer service section at Target if they matched Target.com prices and was told no.

When did Walmart start matching their website? As a general rule, I find Best Buy one of the few that easily matches their own web site. Walmart, TRU, Target, B&N all have been quite resistant to the idea.

Jurassic Park Trilogy on Amazon.com for $29.99.

I stand corrected for assuming Wal-mart and Target had the same online policy as Best Buy. I consider it strange that they are not all on the same wavelength.

Amazon

Please note that the price of Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy (+ Digital Copy) [Blu-ray] has decreased from $53.99 to $26.49 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart.

Please note that the price of Rocky: The Undisputed Collection (Rocky / Rocky II / Rocky III / Rocky IV / Rocky V / Rocky Balboa) [Blu-ray] has decreased from $37.49 to $22.49 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart.

The Mummy Returns [Blu-ray] $6.99
Beauty & The Beast (Criterion) - $11.99 and True Grit (Coen Brothers) - $10.99 at Amazon.
BRIDESMAIDS is $9.99 on Amazon. I found prices slashed as well on LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL--only $5.49. Prices are jumping around pretty rapidly, though--it looks like BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is back up to $22.
X-Men First Class is $9.99 at amazon also. Got this and Bridesmaids
post #13829 of 14986
Animal House and Blues Brothers - $11.99 each at Amazon
post #13830 of 14986
Does anyone know if there is a dedicated thread for 3D Blu Ray deals?
