Amazon has a "$10 off two Disney titles" deal today. Short list, but has the Aristocats and Rescuers/Rescuers Down Under two pack preorder included on it. Bring the two to under $35.

I wonder if those of us who took advantage of the $8 coupons several months ago can take advantage of this???

$8 coupon x 2 BDs = $16 off

which is better than "buy 2 save $10."

Uh... I know that.
Called Amazon and got them to also give me the $10 off. They couldn't take it off the order, but credited my account for a future purchase.

Evidently we can with no problem, as I have two copies shipping to me as I forgot I had ordered it under the $8 off deal. Oh well, Xmas present for someone I guess.

My local Walmart (Illinois) had a new $5.00 Blu-ray double feature display. They had 15 or more discs, so 30 or so different movies. I picked up the "Bravo Two Zero" ( a really good movie) and "Men of War" (never seen it) double feature. Probably most selections would be considered B or even C movies lol. Double features from franchises like Children of the Corn, Hellraiser and Halloween, not the originals but the 3rd and 4th etc. in the series. "The Prophesy" 1 and 2 stood out as interesting. "Below", the ghost on a submarine movie..... and that's about all I can recall, so nothing to get to excited about lol.

EDIT: Gack! I just opened the one I bought and both movies are on one disc! lol eek.gif

Just wanted to add to what Punkak posted about Walmart-

The 4 movie versions for Children of the Corn, Hellraiser, and The Prophesy are all $7.88. Great way to pick up a pile of cheesy B grade horror flicks for Halloween.
Keep in mind that Echo crams all 4 movies on to one disc. No extras.

Speaking of Walmart, not a special price (but actually, it is now...)  -- the first edition of Game of Thrones  Season 1 (Bush head) is still available at Walmart.com at the old price, under $44.   Amazon and Walmart sell the edited edition for more money.

It's not shown on their website, and maybe it was just a local sale in Omaha, but Winter's Bone is on sale this week at Target for $5.00. There were a few others for $5.00 including the original Total Recall, however, that version of Total Recall apparently has a terrible video transfer/audio. The better version is the Mind Bending Edition which was not on sale at Target.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered this. It'll be interesting to see if I get the correct (original) version.
I don't know how I'll tell w/out opening it and going to the scene in question... anyone know if the SKUs are different?

Tron (the original) is down to $15.95 at Amazon. It dropped to $17.99 yesterday (matching Best Buy's price), and now a new low today. Don't know if it'll keep dropping; it is a Disney movie, after all.

For those in the Pacific Northwest, Fred Meyers has the BD/DVD/DC Titanic on sale for $19.99. Included is a coupon for a free 6-pack package of popcorn. The ad shows available September 11 instead of the 10th, maybe a typo?

With my prime membership and the $8 preorder coupon, I'll eat the $6 difference given my past experience of cancelled orders and delayed shipments from Deep Discount.

It was an $8 promo coupon offered by amazon for a while after it became available for preorder on their site.

A member over on Blu-ray.com found the Indy Jones set in his local Costco for $61.99! Unfortunately, the register caught that it was out before release date and the associate wouldn't sell it to him. But it looks like Costco will have the best price so far.

If you sign up for the Best Buy Deal of the Day email, you get $5.00 worth of Reward Zone points for a coupon which would effectively bring the price to $59.99 plus tax. Of course, if you have additional RZ points that can add up to further savings as in my case.

Hmm.. I was offered 100 points to sign up for the deal. It takes 250 points to earn a $5 RZ certificate. What am I missing?

I'm a silver member and either I've deleted the email, or never got it.

That's kind of expensive, isn't it?

It's pretty much the lowest price any US B&M store is currently selling this release fro at the moment.
