Amazon has the "Die Hard Collection" (all four) for $19.99. I haven't seen it this low since this time last year.

Lord of The Rings - Extended Edition (without "extras" discs) - Target Exclusive $10 each

For those of you who, like myself, don't frequent the "Great Found Deals" forum, and if you're a LOTR fan, you might be interested in post #5 of this thread:

http://www.avsforum.com/t/1439343/lord-of-the-rings-extended-blu-ray-43-99-on-amazon#post_22603973

This thread lists (and shows pictures) of a very good deal on extended edition blu-rays (without bonus discs) for each movie for $10 each at Target AND also comes with $5 movie cash on each movie for "The Hobbit". I just picked them up at my local Target for $30 - 5% Target card so if you subtract off $15 for movie cash yields just about $15 net for all three movies!

BTW - In my Target store, these movies weren't located in the normal movie section! Instead they were in a special group of $10 and $15 blu-rays setup apparently for a Black Friday type sale (the guys in the movie area didn't even know about the special section!)

Also, see 3rd picture in post #38 here: http://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=208985&page=2 (shows that these discs will conveniently replace existing movie discs in extended DVD sets "artwork" wise)

I was at Target today shopping for my daughter's Christmas presents and noticed the same thing. Felt like it was some sort of adult treasure hunt.

The Warner Brothers Online Shop is offering a wide variety of blu-rays for $6.99. Some are deals compared with other places. Some...not so much. Here ya go:

Any Black Friday deals on the Indiana Jones BluRay box set (I'll buy the set even though I only want the first and third movies)? Is anyone selling the recently released BluRay of Lawrence of Arabia for less than $18 that BB and Amazon are listing? Thanks.

Negatory on both. Indiana Jones going for $50 for the five-disc boxset and Lawrence of Arabia still at $18.

Just got Hugo 3D for $12 at Amazon!

Scored all my blu-rays that I bookmarked for Thursday night. With that said, I will NEVER EVER do the box store Black Thursday/Friday thing again. Talk about the pinnacle of redneckness. Had to take a hot shower when I got back home to wash off the experience. eek.gif

Same here. Did a Target BF 3 years ago with my wife, daughters and late nephew....Almost like being in the middle of a cow stampede. Way too many women tried to storm the doors from the parking lot and cut off the actual line....Never again for this dude.

Amazon Deal of the Day: Bond 50 for $100! biggrin.gif

Finally worth buying despite the fact that I already own half of them on Blu.

I am glad I held off getting the 9 "exclusive" Bond films at Walmart, Best Buy and Target that I needed to complete my collection.

For about the same price as buying those 9 films I'm getting all 22 films,

I'll give the 15 films I have now to relatives as Christmas stocking stuffers. I know I'm cheap but I prefer to be described as frugal.

+1. Sweet deal. Now I need to unload my other single Bond blu-rays.

That is under $5 per disc, some of them were never released in blu-rays before.

Yeah, we guys know you're frugal. It's just the women who find out that'll call you cheap. wink.gif

LOTR wasn't the extended edt, or was that a lighting deal? Kill Bill is nice, but that be the only other ones I'm interested in.

Nope. Wasn't an extended edit. Call me a heathen but I'm not all that into extras. Just give me the movie. wink.gif

Just re-visited your post. After the original Black Friday weekend, the better deals seemed to have indeed dried up and gone up in price. Here's hoping there are still some to be had.

Ordered Pirates of the Caribbean Quadrilogy from Amazon UK for $28.04 after shipping. Price adjusted lower than list when I added it to cart which made the shipping basically free.

Many solid deals, good post. I have seen many of these titles cheaper, however, over the course of the last couple years. Some of those were isolated and/or short-term deals though.
