"Die Hard: The Collection" for $18.99 at Costco. That's the cheapest I've ever seen it by a dollar. When the stock boy saw it in my cart and saw the price, he took his break so he could get a copy.
Great price, but I'll still stay away. Too many reviews complain about the horrible PQ of the BD's.
Amazon has a mountain of blu-rays for under $10. To numerous to mention but the ones I've been toying with are "Superman/Superman 2 (Donner Cut)/ Superman Returns" for $9.99, "The Wild Bunch" for $4.99, "Army of Darkness" for $8.99, and any of the "X-Men" movies for $6.99. Link here:
Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered this. It'll be interesting to see if I get the correct (original) version.
I don't know how I'll tell w/out opening it and going to the scene in question... anyone know if the SKUs are different?
Hi,
I have recently moved overr from UK and Love GoT series; read all 5 books. Could you tell me what you mean by edited version and 'scene'. Does that happen a lot in USa , how do I look out for it?
Also, is there any particular sites that are known to be cheaper than most ? I have my new sammy e7000 plamsa coming next week and want to wow the family with Hubble 3d , that raved about underwater one , a kid's move in 3d, avatar 3d for wife and will get Diney WOW BR . Any recommendations on where to go ?

Universal Monsters collection may be on special this week at amazon for $80, but at Amazon UK it's selling for $41 shipped. Shows up as £27 on the site. Drops to £22.50 in the cart plus £3.08 shipping.

Yep... and it looks like the UK sale runs until 1/27... so I'm trying to save a little and see if I can't finally swing that to get this set.
BestBuy is having their $5 DVD trade-up for Blu-rays $9.99 and up event again. You can get each of the LOTR discs for $4.99, among others.
I was not able to see any information about the sale on Best Buy's web site. When does the sale start and end? I missed it the last time they had the sale and don't want to miss it again this time. Thanks.

The bottom of the coupon says "valid dates : 1/13/13 - 2/2/13. Not sure if that's when the coupon has to be used by though. It also says to go to bestbuy.com/upgradeandsave fore more info.
Speaking of the Best Buy upgrade thing, yesterday I took 4 old dvds in to my local BB for the $5 apiece credit. I picked out 4 blu-ray titles, two of which were priced at $9.99 (Wolverine & Final Destination 2) along with Lawrence Of Arabia and Dr Strangelove. For some reason, the dumb cashier couldn't do the $5 credit properly, not to mention I guess Final Destination 2 was listed as $4.99 in their system. My son was dealing with the stomach flu and *had* to get out of there so after paying, I got him home, checked the receipt and sure enough, I had been charged $10+. So I had to go back later that day, deal with a long line in customer service to get them to review and credit me the proper amount. To add a nice touch though, the girl said keep the receipt + little card for the 4 $5 dvd credits and use it if I want on another 4 Blu-ray purchases in the next week or two.

They gave me back the receipt for the trade in with the coupon also. I wasn't sure if it could be used again or not, like maybe once they scanned it it wouldn't work again.

Yup, coupons had 2/2 expiration dates, so you need to use them during the period.
I've made good use of it, turning $100 of BD's into just $50. They have a pretty good list of great movies on sale for $10-15 that you can use the coupon with.
I think the promotion along with the discounted prices has to do with moving inventory out and the coming reduction of their BD floor space.
At the local Costco tonight, picked up How Green Was My Valley, and Gentleman's Agreement, $8.99 each, out this past Tuesday. Amazon has them at $19.99 each.

Thanks for the information. I'll go to BB today and check out what they have.
