Went back to their site. You are right. They have since cancelled the free shipping.

Amazon has the 15th Anniversary Edition of "Stargate" for $4. Good deal but you'll have to pad your order if you want to get the free shipping.

Link? The only one I can see is $14.16 and I have a Prime account. So $4 would be most excellent!

If you don't already own it, now is the time to strike. I don't think it's ever been cheaper.

Star Trek: The Original Series Blu-ray complete collection is $110.25

Well, when I click that link it's now gone up to $14.16. There are other options to get it for $5.00 but that's not what the link says when I click it.

Just checked this morning. "Stargate (The 15th Anniversary Edition)" did indeed go back up to $13.95. Link here:

Always important to strike while the iron is hot. wink.gif

It is still $5.00. From amazon it is listed as shipping in 1 -2 weeks, which is why it is listed in the "More Buying Choices" section and not the main page.

And that's advice for any Amazon purchase when the featured seller is "fulfilled by Amazon" rather than sold by them.   When Amazon runs out of stock,  they often show their price in the "More Buying Choices" section.   Amazon already tends to be the cheapest source, but if they ran out because of a great deal, they tend to honor the deal price a bit longer by showing it there.  That right hand column is worth looking at, it's also where they call your attention to an item that's a Gold Box deal.

Another great place to check out BDs on sale from Amazon is the blu-ray.com link.  I like the deals page because it's so easy to check out pricing history for everything on sale. Just hover over the tiny graph icon.  The graph doesn't catch every blowout deal during BF/Cyber weeks, but it's a good place to start.  I also like to see what's trending and  popular deals (right hand column).  When the deals list is long, I can expect to find seasonal deals at my other favorite sellers.  The deals page has great sorting features, too.

I've been looking at this deal for the past day, about to pull the trigger, but haven't yet. I own all of the DVDs already and dont know if I want to pay for the BRDs.

I'm going to pull the trigger today. Actually just go over to local BB and have them price match. I figure I'll use the DVD's for when I get camp/lake house. Then all my duplicate DVD's will go there and guests can watch them when the weather is bad.

I took advantage of BB's DVD trade in program and grabbed a bunch of Blus

Gattaca
Black Hawk Down
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Bridge On The River Kwai
Spy Games/State Of Play
Body Heat/LA Confidential/The Player
2001 A Space Odyssey/A Clockwork Orange/The Shining
Matrix Reloaded/Matrix Revolutions
Deep Impact
The Firm

16 movies for a total of $73.40 making each movie $4.58

not bad.

They did it last year and the latest one just finished on on Sat I think. They will give you a $5 coupon for every used DVD you bring in. Hopefully they will do it again soon. They need to advertise it a bit more. I didn't know they were doing it again until I just happened to walk in the store on Fri and even then I didn't know until I saw a small sign over one of the Blu Ray shelves. Luckily I had some old DVDs in my truck.

I didn't have a problem finding Blu Rays to get. The $5 coupon is good on any Blu Ray over $9.99 and they had plenty of those that I wanted. I just wanted to find as many that were close to $9.99 to maximize the savings.

It's been in the Best Buy Sunday add the past few weekends. I don't think they'll do TV ads...

Is the BB trade-in deal done for now?
