Fry's Electronics has a steal on several choice blu-rays for $3.99. They include "Wedding Crashers", "Caddyshack", "Dumb & Dumber", and "The Wild Bunch."

It appears that that BOGO deal only allows two BDs to be purchased at once--the second you add a second pair of movies, you end up with three of them showing up for $7.99 each. Not a huge deal, but still.

Amazon has "Shawshank Redemption for $7.99. I've had this one on my list for a long time and it's priced as low as it's ever been.

Amazon is offering up to 60% off over 4,000 titles (both DVDs and blu-rays.) One of their better deals. Warning: You'll have to do some sifting.

This deal also applies in-store, like the last BOGO. And like the last one, there may be some titles in stores which don't appear in the weblink because they're sold-out online, including Young Frankenstein (which may be sold-out in some stores as well.)

I found most of these titles on a special BOGO endcap at my local BB. Not the greatest selection of comedies, but there are couple pretty funny ones in there. If they're out of a certain title on the endcap, then I'd check the regular Comedy section for more copies.

Amazon has "When Harry Met Sally" for $5. That's for those of you who didn't score at Target. wink.gif

Amazon has a $5 off coupon for Oz the Great and Powerful (Blu-ray/DVD/Digital). This currently makes it $1.50 cheaper than the Blu-ray/Digital version.

that coupon is NOT valid for the 3D BD set (in case anyone is wondering).
Yeah, and it appears the 3D set is 3D only.

Huge deal here. Family Video has about 182 used blu-rays for sale as low as $4.99. A lot of currents like "Skyfall" for $6.99, "Spiderman" reboot for $6.99, and "Men In Black 3" for $6.99.

Just saw at their web site that they do ship w/"Studio Art & Case", but "Professionally Refurbished" has me wondering...

Yes.

The only thing that annoys me with their used products is the little label around the center of the disc. It's really not that big of a deal though.

Got Looper and Ted last month from them.

Do they include the blurays with extras or just the main movie.

None of the movies that I've gotten from them have been the 2 blu-ray disc variety so that I don't know. I do know that combo packs do not come with the DVD. My Transformers: Dark of the Moon did not come with it's DVD. I did get the slip with it though.

Confirmed alan1. smile.gif BB started their DVD tradein deal today, which means these BDs (and many others) are $5 with a tradein...

Attack the Block

Battle: Los Angeles

Bladerunner

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Eyes Wide Shut

A Few Good Men

Grease

Lawrence of Arabia

Stripes

The Thing (original 1982 version)

2001

etc...

Basically all the stuff in the recent $10 BOGO deals are now $5/each with a tradein. There are also a few nice combo packs for $7 w/tradein, including...

Body Heat/LA Confidential/The Player

Ferngully/The Secret of NIMH

etc...

Glad to finally be able to add some of the above (esp. BR, NIMH, Tiffany's and 2001) to my little BD collection.

Tradein deal ends 5/11/13. And only 5 tradeins are allowed per visit, as usual. Be sure to get a coupon for each DVD you trade in to avoid hassles at other stores (it states right on the coupon that you're allowed 5 per visit).

I checked out the films in the western 3-film combo pack last night, and a couple of the transfers left something to be desired. So I've retracted that suggestion above, and I'm going to suggest the Legendary Heroes 3 Pack instead, which is only $5 with DVD tradein, and includes three Syfy channel films: The 7 Adventures of Sinbad, Almighty Thor, and John Carter of Mars (aka Princess of Mars with Antonio Sabato & Traci Lords). Haven't seen any of these myself, but it sounds like solidly schlocky entertainment. smile.gif Don't see this title on BB's site, so this may be for in-store purchase only (SKU # 7235069).

(The restored Cinerama version of How the West Was Won in the western combo looked pretty good btw.)

Are the versions of the films in the western combo pack different from the single disc versions? The reviews of the transfers of all three films has generally been good.
