For clarity, the book you reference is the digibook packaging. The edition with a standalone book is $30: http://www.amazon.com/Anniversary-Collectors-Edition-Blu-ray-UltraViolet/dp/B00845MRKE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1373073235&sr=8-2&keywords=blade+runner+blu+ray

Best Buy finally recycled it's SaveStation rack, just in time for the next Upgrade & Save deal. Not much that really interests me, but all of these Sony titles should be $4.99 with a DVD tradein in-store beginning next Sunday (7-14), I believe.

Best Buy is back with their "One for $9.99, two for $12.99, or three for $14.99" deal. Don't know about everyone else but there are a few on my "must have" list. Some selections have two movie on it (i.e. "Dodgeball"/"There's Something About Mary") so...bonus. Link here:

Thanks for the reminder on this, smudge.

I think this has been running continuously (in stores anyway) since it began a little over 2 weeks ago. And last time I checked, it was supposed to end on 7-20. Looks like most of the titles that were backordered online may now be available though.

Probably also worth reiterating that if you purchase more than 3 items on the list, they should all price out at about $5 each. For more details on how the offer works, see these two previous posts...

If this price stays through Sunday, PM at Best Buy and trade in for the $5 discount.

Barnes and Noble is having a 50% off Criterion sale. Keep in mind that this is 50% off their regular MSRP pricing, but it's still cheaper than most etailers right now. $15-25 for just about everything.

So basically $27.99, after the Upgrade & Save discount is applied. No?

The U&S discount will only work on in-store prices, which may be different from the pricing on Best Buy's website.

For example, the other day I saw on BB's website that they had the Blu-ray "Flight" (2012 Denzel Washington movie) priced at $9.99. So I went to a local BB store with my trade-in DVD, grabbed a BD copy of "Flight", went to the customer service desk, and was charged $9.99 (not $4.99) after the U&S discount. When I told the customer service gal that BB's website shows "Flight" as being $9.99 on Blu-ray, she verified it, but told me that the in-store price is $14.99. Furthermore, according to her, the U&S discount can only be used on the in-store price of a BD ($9.99 and up). It can not be used on a price-matched item, even if the price being matched is from Best Buy's own website.

So I was given the choice of price matching the BB online price, or taking the in-store price and using the U&S coupon. Since the final cost was $9.99 either way, I took the price match and walked away with the coupon to use on a later day.

So hopefully the Indiana Jones boxset has an in-store price of $32.99, so that the U&S discount can be applied. But even if it has to be price-matched down to $32.99 (thus voiding the U&S eligibility), that is still a great final cost for this boxset smile.gif

I think you might possibly have gotten snookered on Flight, Vlad... or BB's policy re pricematching their own site varies from store to store.

The Flight Blu-ray (SKU # 7482103) also came up as $14.99 at my store. But I asked customer service if they'd match the $9.99 price on their own website, AND also apply a U&S discount to it, and they said no prob... as long as the SKUs match (which they do).

They wouldn't match prices on other vendor's websites (e.g. Target, Amazon, Fry's) and do the U&S on top of it though, because they considered that a "double-dip". (Tried this at two different stores, and got the same "double-dip" response at both.)

You make a good point though, that it's a good idea to check both their website and the in-store prices to see which is lower.

I also had them ring up the Indiana Jones set (SKU # 6315037) with a U&S discount, and the price did indeed come out as $27.99+tax. I decided to pass on it though, because the only one in the set I really want is Raiders of the Lost Ark. (Hopefully it'll be released as a standalone at some point.)

If you've got other tips, tricks, comments, etc. on BB's Upgrade & Save offer, feel free to share them here btw...

My experience is the same as ADU's; my BB has always PM'd their online prices. Some here have suggested they've been able to place an online purchase in the store and use the coupon at that time, but I have not been able to get my store to do that.

Will they let you use a DVD tradein coupon on top of PM-ing their web-pice though? (My store said yes, fwtw.)

Customer service may be able to do this on some titles using their "Express Lane" system, and ship it to your home.

Yes, they have PM'd their online price and let me use the coupon. I have not been able to use the coupon with Express Lane.

Melbourne Florida store would not allow me to use the DVD trade in if I price matched. Bummer.
