Two weeks? So. I don't see the problem. Seems resonable to me. All my amazon orders take about that long.

EXACTLY the same with my order. I have an order from DVDplanet coming that was mailed on the 12th. As I think they use the same mailing as DD, it'll be interesting to see how long it takes.

Six hours after ordering Cloverfield from Tower.com, I recieved a shipping confirmation, too . (Guess they got a new shipment!)

Also of note, Men in Black and Blade Runner have shipped as well. I've recieved three separate e-mail notifications for these titles... So I'm getting 10 packages with my orders? Usually you have to pay more for that.

Also, Thanks Shabre and Pugnax555 for your replies in the other thread. Crossing my fingers that Shabre's experience is mine.

DD split my order up into two shipments, one "sent" on the 7th, the other on the 8th. I just got the one that was "sent" on the 8th. Too bad it only had one disc in it. I'm still waiting for the package with my other 4 movies. Hopefully it'll show up tomorrow.

I went ahead and bought the Rambo Trilogy via DD/Buy/Google for $17.88. Wow, gotta love the complexity of our modern world. I paid via a virtual credit card number supplied to Google checkout, which processed an order from Buy.com that is actually being sold and shipped by Deep Discount.

As a sidenote, I bought my first Blu-ray player Sunday night (06/15/08) and have already bought 14 discs!! Average cost is currently $13.55. Who says Blu is expensive? Perhaps I'm just hitting a time that is a really good buyer's market. Deals have been great, but I've gotta stop visiting this forum for the sake of my pocketbook.

Well said. When people like me sitting abroad is able to find good deals and post them in forums like these, it should very much be possible for the ones sitting stateside who are cribbing about the high price.

2 weeks is an "issue"? I'd never order from DD -- or a lot of these online retailers -- then if I were you.

I've had 3 orders -- 2 of them large ones -- ship within a week since mid June. That's way better than not having items ship at all as they did last year!

I thought it was for a used copy of the series which was still an awesome deal and when i got to the counter they brought out a completely sealed Trilogy set. So naturally i bought 2 copies to see what i can get for resale later on

FYI. Tower sends separate emails for each item as it's packed. Your order will come in one package, but w/ a separate packing slip for each item you ordered. If some items in your order haven't shipped yet, then you'll have to wait until they are processed until the whole order ships out. I don't know if this is the way they handle all their orders, but this is the way they've handled mine in the past.

Yes, two weeks is an issue for me. That is why I NEVER order from DD anymore, regardless of whatever supposed "sale" they may be having. The minimal discount is not worth it to me, if I have to wait a few weeks for my items to ship. I rather pay a little higher price to Amazon and receive my product in 3 days or so.

Let me be clear, the problem I have is not with the timeliness of the actually shipping, but with the amount of time it takes for the product to be shipped. In my experience with WHV and my previous ones with DD, my products were in stock when I ordered them, and my credit card was charged immediately. However, my movies didn't actually ship from the vendor for about a week, if not much longer. Therein lies my problem. I fail to understand how in stock items that I paid for take at least a week before they are actually shipped.

Apparently, a two week or longer wait-time isn't a problem for some. If so, that's fine. I was just stating my experience to give everyone a general timeframe as to when to expect their orders.

fragile-reality, if your orders from Amazon are taking two weeks to get to you you must live in the middle of nowhere. I can pick free shipping and still get my movies within four days after they are shipped.

It's back up to $18.95. The price was $14.95 on Amazon for a couple of hours yesterday.

i think that the warner bros. site has raised their prices. i was looking at 4 or 5 19.95 titles to replace my hd-dvd's to buy during the 30% off code and now they are all at 22.95.

The Best Buy Online 2 for $25 seems to be missing.

did you add them to your cart? i noticed the same thing last night, but once i put the movie in the cart, it showed up as $19.95.

I got Over California for $9.99 at Costco. I don't see it online so you might have to pick it up at the store.
