I tried the save $5 link...but the price was no different than if you didn't use the link....still 18.85. Is this after the $5? I thought it was going to be 13.95. Can someone please explain?

Somehow the "...." got in the link. If you cut and paste somebody else's post where the visible link text is shortened then you'll just copy the dots along with the rest. It's better to go to the link and then copy the link at the top of the browser and put it in the post.

I know I said I wasn't going to get anything from Deep Discount. But I ordered the MI box set through buy.com with GCO for $37 shipped.

I hate the 2nd, the 3rd was idiotic. But I love box sets, plus it's hard to find.

Yes. AFTER they are shipped. I get mine a few days after they are shlpped as well. But that's not the problem. With free shipping Amazon doesn't even ship them out for about 7 days after I actually order them.

edit: just checked order history. Ordered three instock movies on May 15th, shipped on May 25th. One movie ordered on May 29th, shipped on June 10th. Last order was actually quick. Ordered on June 3rd, shipped on June 6th.

My experience would suggest that 4-5 days would be a poor guess. It will probably be closer to 14 days coming from DD.

DD claims that the item ships not to long after the order is placed. But judging by transit time, I think the ship notification is bogus.

Amazon's free shipping is hideous at best when talking about how long it takes to ship after it is ordered.
I always order from J&R and Warner Home Video.
I swear some times that Amazon PURPOSLY holds items back if you don't pay for the premium shipping just to encourage consumers to pay the extra premium shipping fee.
