Refusing the shipment to get your money back should work.
If you open, and then try to return, you will have to pay shipping unless you tell them the package is damaged.

24 (UP) + 29 (Monsters) - 10 (up coupon) - 10 (target coupon) - 8 (monsters coupon) = 25 + tax.

Did they let you price match the BB price of 18 for Monsters (when purchased with UP) AND let you use the Target coupon? That's a big YMMV, if so.

I think at Worst Buy UP is $20 and MI is $29.
Then minus $28 for 3 coupons = $21 + tax.
A huge ymmv factor is if Target will also match the $10 OFF for buying both at Worst Buy.

I believe they make you pay for it now. Which would put everyone about even.

I sent an email complaining about the non-acceptance of manufacturer coupons. Not requesting any money back, just a complaint.

Amazon will take it back but be careful not to get on their "Devils" list over a few dollars.

Well, you guys are going to hate me and this a big YMMV, but here's what just happened to me at Target.

I price matched UP to Fry's for $19.95
I price mateched Monster, Inc to BB for $18.99 (it's the biggest price in the ad, so they didn't even notice it was the combo price).

I used the $10 off Target coupon
I used the $10 off UP coupon
I used the $8 off Monsters, Inc. coupon

Attached to the Monsters, Inc BD was an instant use manufacturers coupon for $10 off when buying UP and Monsters together. They let me use that too.

Total: 19.95 + 18.99 - 10 - 10 - 10 -8 = .94

Out the door with tax for $1.02 for both movies.

Called Amazon about my UP and Monsters, Inc that are being delivered today and I explained to her that I wanted to return them due to the manufacturers coupons that just came out that are only good at B&M's. Based on my past history, she Emailed me a return shipping label to send them both back for free.

56 cents per movie. Hard to get better than that.

If you bought Star trek and one of the other trek movies together, you'd get an extra $10 off. Trek was $20.99 a week or so ago.

I almost got that deal except the Monsters,Incs at my Target didn't have the peelie coupon for $10 so I paid $10.98 for both.

By the way the Target exclusive UP w/Journal rang up at $19.99 so I only needed to price match Monsters Inc to Best Buy.

Holy crap.

$10 UP coupon
$10 Target coupon
$10 Monster's Inc case coupon
$8 Monster's Inc coupon

That's $20 without doing any PMs. That's amazing.

This is the first I have heard of it.
It is on the front of the MI case of MI in store?... just peel it off and cashier takes $10 off? WOW!

Yes, some of the Monsters, Inc discs had it on the front (peel off and use immediately), but some of them didn't. It didn't look like a Target specific thing, so they might be on the packages at other retailers too. It was for $10 off the purchase of UP and Monsters, Inc.

But Fry's was $19.95. That's 4 cents in savings, rookie.

I didn't even realize the Target disc was an exlusive with some type of Journal. I haven't opened mine yet, but it looks just like the regular version. Where's the Journal?

Ha. I wish we had a Fry's on the East Coast. Especially with Circuit City and Tweeter both out of business.

It's shrink wrapped with the movie.

Obvious? Or would it be inside the packaging?

I was wondering if someone was going to use that coupon attached as well.

On a side note, I am not hearing on other forums that Up is now ringing up as 19.99 in store. Not sure if it's certain ones or if they changed the price by the afternoon.

It rang up as $19.99 at my Target as well (but I don't think I have the Journal version)

I have learned my lesson. No more New Disney Blu ray purchases from Amazon for me.

Very obvious. It's outside the movie case back-to-back with the movie itself. Target had them in thick security cases that they use for computer software.

Thanks, will have to go back and look, since Target's less than 1 mile from me.

Indeed. Or, I'll have the preorder booked with something far off and have them combine shipping. Seems like a good security blanket.

Just got back from Best Buy. I had them price match UP to $19.99, which is their online price. I also had them price match Monsters Inc. to $21.32, which is the Walmart online price. Then I used the $10 off combo deal and both manufacturer's coupons. The total came to $13.31 plus tax and still qualified for the free Steelbook case.

The best part about this deal is that it's totally legit. It doesn't rely on getting a cashier that doesn't know any better.

I hate all of you for getting such good deals. Too bad I don't know anyone else with a BD player, I'd go grab another set.

Okay - not completely clear on this one.

Where did you get the $8 coupon for MI?
Where did you get the $10 coupon for Target?

Did the Target coupon come with the paper over the weekend?

Thanks,

ck

just got back from target.

used the target 10 off when you buy both MI & Up. (up rang up as 19.99) used the 10 off Mfg coupon for Up, and the 8 off Mfg coupon for MI. total with tax was 22.22. according to the receipt, i saved 51.00.

i dig the travel journal that came with Up.

all the coupons can be found using a google search

Guys, I got the same deal as Stew by going to Target.

UP rang up as 19.99 (it included the journal book).
I brought in the BB ad, and got them to price match Monsters, Inc. at 18.99 (originally 26.99 at Target).

I used the Target $10 off coupon when you buy both, printed from Target website.
I used the Disney UP coupon for $10 off, printed from Disney website.
I used the Monsters, Inc. Disney coupon for $8 off, printed from Disney website.
On the Monster's Inc. box in the store, I pulled off the $10 off coupon with purchase of UP (same as the Target $10 off coupon).

So, $19.99 + $18.99 - $10 - $10 - $10 - $8 = $0.98 (without tax)

I did this at the customer service desk. The CSR said her computer showed "too many coupons," but she said she didnt care and gave it all to me anyway.

Good luck everyone!

Look at the paper ad that came in the newspaper (you can also get it in store). In the ad, BB has the 18.99 price in the little yellow tag.
