Yeah but on psn it is usually updated around 5-6est. So if you don't have a 360 just gonna have to wait a few more hours.

Wow you're saying PSN actually has demos. I wouldnt hold me breath for a store update of any sort of significance.

I played the demo several days ago. You were under the impression that it wasn't up yet?

are you saying that the ncaa 09 football demo was on the us psn several days ago? i find that hard to believe. there's been no mention of it whatsoever until today...

So how is the framerate? I just downloaded "the you know what" version and it was smooth as butter. I'm downloading the PS3 version now.

I just got done messing with the NCAA demo for about a hour giving this game it's due shot..and sadly it is a glitchy mess...the QB did not line up right under the center a single snap and he always offset to the side the ball was going to. Not to mention the random Old Spice ad that pops up in the right hand corner...I scored 42 points in 8 minutes. Ran back 2 touchdowns recovered 3 onside kicks and scored on an interception....All in 8 minutes not right. I'll save my money for CIV Revolutions

Yeah the ps3 version doesn't run as smooth between plays like it does on the 360. Also yes for some reason the qb bumps into the lineman when he goes in for the snap its weird and only on the ps3 version. The sound does seem a lil better than the 360 version.

DL'd and played a game last night. Pretty decent. For the life of me, I can't figure out why EA thinks the best thing to do to set the ambience and excitement of a live sporting event is to show a massive crowd of 8-bit proportions. Makes no sense to me. Next-gen, next-gen, next-gen and the very first thing I see is a bunch of NES looking dudes jumping up and down in unison.

Gameplay was fun though. My first game went to overtime and I won on my second possession. Thought it was weird that my QB kept lining up to the side of the center. Seemed sloppy. One of these days, too, I'd like to see EA try and make it at least look like the players' feet are interacting with the field. They still appear to float at certain times.

Huge improvement, not as sluggish (I hope this carries over onto the online aspect as this was the biggest drawback in their football games online)...It all just seems so fluid, even getting an interception doesn't piss me off as much because it looks legitimate...I had my surround sound on and I slapped a ball away and I heard it..It's little things like that makes the game better..Still no net which is retarded, but it's the least of my worries..I still didn't see coaches, players, cheerleaders running up the sidelines either. The character models don't look changed at all...Last year was a 7 this year a solid 8..Worth a purchase from the demo alone.

I hope Madden turns out great.

I was pleasantly surprised by this game; the framerate is smooth and the controls are responsive. This is in direct contrast to last year's game, which had a poor framerate and an overall sluggish feel. However, I hope that some of the glitches that people have noticed will not be present in the final version. At the very least, this demo provides some hope that Madden will not be gimped on the PS3 this year.

^^^the demo is based on an earlier build of the game; late april, iirc.

Good game. Although I suck at it so far.
