Hey, can get both about the same price with rebates and a free lamp, with the Epson i actually would get $400 in Blockbuster coupons. Just wondering what would be better, i was actually going to buy the Sanyo but it is backordered so have to wait a little longer.

I assume you mean the non UB model? I still would go with the epson for brightness.

yes it is the non UB model. I did see that topic before but still was unsure and wanted to see if any more opinions were out there.

I have the epson non-ub model and with a high power screen and dynamic modes, im pushing 1600 lumens on a 2.8 gain screen, perfect for watching sports in sunlight (Im talking real sunlight, there is no dark in the room, but not blazin on the screen) and its amazing, great experience, also great for movies, I would go with the Epson 1080 hands down.
