Those are likely LINE level so I would be surpirsed if it were possible. Even if the gain were there, it would be unlikely to have an RIAA equalization curve which would be necessary for flat response. I am in the same boat btw. and though I've a PHONO pre amp I wanted to include it with the new setup, so I'll likely be breaking out my old Audio Amateur
mags and building.
To anyone who owns and might have gotten this far - please confirm reprocessing of 5.1 LPCM source to 7.1 as this is what will be fed from my PS3 and HTPC.
And not to stir a hornets nest, but I come down on the side that believes that BTB and WTW is important for video processing and WTW is important for PQ as I like soft clip in my hightlights, so can you please check for passing of these codes if you have the means?
