Will go nice with The Iron Man Blu-Ray coming out.

Universal Studios will release The Incredible Hulk on Blu-ray on November 25th according to retailer HD Addicts. The release date seems logical, as it already had a planned November release. Too early for specs and details, but the preorder is listed as a "Special Collector's Edition."

The CGI in the first one was so much better it's not funny. I swear with each year CG work gets worse.

The fist one had character development too, and beautiful cinematography and better set pieces, and the sound design was more refined.

Incredible is just loud(not the good kind, just volume loud. and the guy that owns my local theater knows his stuff, so don't assume it was the presentation I saw).

My advice, since most are going to pick it up(I am) wait until it drops below $20. Buy Iron Man and Speed Racer as soon as you can. BTW- Liv Tyler is not an actress.

you thought speed racer was a good movie ???? damn, one of the only ones .

As publicized during it's theatrical opening, the SD & BD will feature an additional 70 mins of footage not shown in theaters...bringing the running time to slightly over 3 hours.

Just for the record, I want to state that I totally disagree with Shadowrage. And that is fine. This is a case where it will be debated forever which of these two films was better. I, personally, as a comic book and film fan found TIH to be leaps and bounds above H. I thought the cgi was done as perfectly as is possible with today's tech when it comes to creating a giant, green, human-like creature. For the record, I also thought the H cgi was done incredibly well. I thought Edward Norton fit the character infinitely better than Bana, and I thought that the film was structured more appropriately considering the source material. H may have been a good Ang Lee movie, but it had numerous faults (bad pacing, "off" characterizations, totally incoherent climax). TIH, on the other hand, is a great Hulk movie and a great movie in general.

Agree with you on that one. Not perfect but definetly enjoyable and better than the previous one.

any idea on the soundtrack going to be used?
I'm curious if some the 70 minutes will just be injected back in as needed, giving us an improved "directors cut" and then the remainder of content put on the disc as "deleted scenes"...kinda what I'm hoping for anyway.

Are you smoking crack? The previous Hulk movie sucked. It was boring. It has piss poor casting. The CGI was Saturday morning cartoon quality. This Hulk was actually good.

Iron Man and Hulk are a must buy, but ONLY if Hulk is going to include the additional 70 minutes of movie they promised. As for Speed Racer, I might buy it depending on the price since it was a good movie.

It's Universal so it should be DTS-MA. I'm looking forward to this one, really liked the movie a lot, even better the second time I saw it. Liv Tyler is great IMO, which surprised me. Lots of kickass Hulk action and it should look amazing on blu-ray. (I'm also down for Speed Racer which is the most underrated movie of the summer)...oh yeah and that cover is clearly just a temp mock-up, doesn't have the Universal silver streak at the bottom

I'm really looking forward to seeing this on BD. Far better than that horrible Ang Lee version, imo.

I loved The Incredible Hulk. Great movie from beginning to end.

Liv Tyler was also great in it.

Must have, like Iron Man, for me.

Marvel Studios is 2 for 2 in my book.

Are describing the requel? I don't think the character works for film at all. Maybe an animated version would be better.

It's cool if you think Incredible Hulk was a good movie. But you have to admit Liv Tyler can not act. Think about it.

I thought 03 Hulk looked like a bouncing dough boy in comparison... those purple pants looked almost glued on.

I agree totally with SR. What was she doing in this movie.!! Also, I thought this version was much better than Mr Lee's.

I hope in the aforementioned extra 70 minutes they explain what happened to the other Professor.

I thought Liv Tyler did a fine job with her role. It came across totally natural instead of "super dramatic damsel in distress" style like a lot of actresses tend to do. Given, she's not exactly at the top of my Hotness List (she is hot though) and she's no Jennifer Connelly (even Jennifer Connelly isn't Jennifer Connelly anymore, although, also, still hot) but she did fine. Any of you who swear she can't act seen "The Strangers"?

Also, I would assume that we'll see certain parts of the "70 minutes" added back in. Such as Banner's attempted suicide (helps explain the helo jump) and his chat with Samson. I don't think they'll just dump the whole thing back in there though.
The director has said that the cut in theaters is the final cut - the 70 minutes of additional scenes will just be on the disc as supplements that you can choose to watch, none of them will be added back into the film.

Whether this will change, of course, is unknown. But that's the official word as of now.

Incredible Hulk on blu-ray on Nov. 25 is good news. As for everything else in this thread, it has been discussed to death here...

I have to say I very much enjoyed the new Hulk....far FAR more than the first. I just can't get into the first movie at all. Can't wait to pick this one up on blu along with Iron Man.

To each his own.

I loved Ang Lee's version. Very well done.

And yes, I know I am in a minority.

You're not alone.

I like movies that have character development and top notch cinematography too. Lee's version also had 'style', the panels for cuts fit perfectly.

Hulk = art movie with action scenes
Incredible Hulk = action movie with Liv Tyler thinking she's an actress(take this out and the movie is better)
The version of the Hulk that would work = Horror movie(R-rated) not a slasher though.

another fan of Hulk 1. I also saw the recent Hulk which I enjoyed but in a different manner vs Hulk 1. I think both are good but appeal to different types of audiences.
Both movies are near equals. Ang's hulk film is a failed experiment. Incredible Hulk is nothing more than a boxing match consisting of three rounds, the second been the best of them.

Like I have always said. Should have just painted Jay Cutler Green.

As I said, I think this is a case of "to each their own." I just can't agree with your reasons. If we're talking cinematography I'd have to point to things like the opening panning shots of the hillside city in Brazil. Or the shots of Hulk and Betty in the cave. I'd also point out that unlike some other big movies with gigantic battles within a city (coughtransformerscough) there was no point where the final battle becomes hard to comprehend thanks to some great cinematography.(albeit mostly of the digital sort) I'm not going to touch on your Tyler vendetta again

I'm also curious if you're into comics at all. Because Hulk as a horror movie... ???
