Ceiling speakers and rain

I got my ceiling speakers recentley installed they are also sealed but it has just occured to me what happens if water get to the connections? I asked a technician would it affect my amp being that the connections of the speaker are wet or would/could connections rust? I asked the salesman where I bought them from but I might I as well asked a 3 year old, he did not have a clue.

Not really a concern, other than the damage it does to the speaker itself.

The voltage is relatively low, which makes it unlikely that the electricity could find a short path. Just having the connections get wet isn't particularly a big deal. Though I suppose the water could damage the driver or crossover.

Any decent receiver or amp should have short protection.

Shorts are about a million times more likely from someone accidentally touching the wires together, or having a stray strand of wire shorting out the speaker connections.

If your roof is leaking, you have bigger things to worry about.

Roof is not leaking but it occured to me when we had heavy rain and strong winds and just wondered what would happen if rain got onto the connections (lucky speakers are sealed).But thanks again for your reply much appreciated.
