On its own, part III rates about a B/B+ for me, but parts I and II are A+ gold.
Actually, I'm sure that Coppola would prefer to simply remake the movie

-- in his own time, with his own rewritten script and several cast changes. Sofia was unfairly treated as she was a quick substitute for a suddenly unavailable Winona Ryder (shopping, anyone?).
But let's wish that the amazing, still-working 92-year-old Eli Wallach would repeat his wonderful work.
