I´m lost, any possibility that you can post your working Avr/htpc sound and video over hdmi combination, It would make me really happy

for budget Onkyo 606 is hard to beat.

I own a Onkyo 885 pro pre-amp and I like it a lot!

The problem here is the ATI video/audio. It just doesn't work with the Yamaha. Though Intel and Nvidia do work with the Yamaha.

I have also heard of issues with the Onkyo 606 and ATI but those are resolved I believe.

This is a helpful thread, so thanks to the OP. I know there was an issue with the Denon 2308, 3803 and the 780G chipset. Has that been resolved? Seems like the Onkyo 705 works okay, can anyone confirm?

I can't decide if I want to wait for one of Denon's upcoming models or not.

I'm using a Denon AVR-788 with an ATI HD3450 without major issues... The only problem I have right now is that sometime, when I turn on the AVR and TV I don't have any sound and sometimes the resolution falls back to 640x480 16bits. But since I upgrade the HDMI audio drivers with the ones on Realtek web site I didn't get any of these issues... I'm also running MediaPortal under Vista 32bits.
