Just went to Costco near Portland, Oregon and they had the 42" model on display (did not see the 47" anywhere) for $1099.
While the bezel looks better than I'd have thought, the screen itself still has a heavy anti-reflective coating on it that reduces the vibrance of the colors, similar to older models. It was on one of the higher shelves so it was hard to get a good look.
The remote seemed nice for a Vizio, but the on-screen menus (although nicer looking than before) seemed slow/unresponsive. Lastly, two of the HDMI ports are on the side panel, which is a disappointment to me.
Still, for $1399 I figure the 47" will still be hard to pass up over the 46" Samsung which is about about $350 more.
