You're in for a treat.

You should definitely get a baby sitter for a night and see this on the big screen though before then!

I went to Warner's site to preorder it, and couldn't find it. Did they take it off? Direct link please.

You're telling me the AR was shifting in the IMAX version? I thought they blew the 35mm up to match the IMAX shots.

Of course there was shifting in the IMAX version.
So enough with the AR and shifting or not shifting.
Here is a question: So what will come with the movie? I know there are 2 BR editions but what will come free with the movie when you buy it at Best Buy or Circuit city, etc? You know those things that are Best Buy, Circuit City, Future Shop, etc exclusives?

Hopefully a Joker Steelbook, I'd buy that.

I like that they have made the release look like the Joker himself has replaced the inside cover.

I managed to preorder TDK before it was taken down and got it for the $18.86 price with the coupon code. I also got an e-mail confirming my order with the price. Anyone ordered from the WB store before? Will I still get TDK for the price I think I paid?

We totally snuck in and got lucky on this one.

When can we pre order?
i just wish theyd put all three versions up for preorder already. i dont care if i dont get in on the 18.86 price
post #494 of 712
It is available for pre order on amazon.co.uk. Price might be steep for USA folks though...
I'm sure it will be up soon. Not sure what difference everyone thinks it's going to make that you pre-ordered early.

If you want it ASAP, I'd just suggest picking it up at store(and who knows what bonuses CC, BB, etc will have) or trying your luck with those certain online places that sometimes ship titles early (and they are usually not the ones to have pre-orders up very early).

I'm still wondering why WB pulled the BD off its webstore...? (I managed to get in under the buzzer on that pre-order, but it's still puzzling.)

It's back, but when I try to add it to the cart - I get a "There is no valid item in your request" error message.

Same here:

Problem with your purchase
The attempt to add an item to your basket failed because:

* There is no valid item in your request

We apologize for any inconvenience you are having.

It's at $24.95 now, but that means it doesn't qualify for free shipping (by itself).

Question: Will Amazon automatically adjust the price if it goes down, or do you have to contact them? I got it for $26.95, but I still want to keep the free shipping.

Pre-order Price Guarantee! Order now and if the Amazon.com price decreases between your order time and the end of the day of the release date, you'll receive the lowest price.

I hope it keeps the free shipping I ordered it when it was at $26 too.

WHV has TDK back up for pre-order @ $29.95 - bummer cause I was hoping for $26.95.
Now to decide on the second BD to get 30% off and free shipping.

Question: On preorders, if I select "standard" shipping, which is around $3, instead of super saver, will my movie ship out the day of release? I know that can take about a week before they ship with the free option.
Actually when I pre-ordered Sleeping Beauty with free shipping it shipped out to me on Oct. 6 which is one day before the official release date. Free shipping has never been slow to ship out to me. As for when I get the product that varies it's been as fast as a couple days sometimes I think they have a warehouse near my city although they don't always ship from that warehouse.

Here is the Sleeping Beauty tracking with free shipping. It has never taken an entire week for them to ship out things to me with free shipping although note that this is the only time that I have gotten the product literally the next day it usually isn't that fast but it is common for me to get packages in 2-3 days.
