I am very new to all this, been reading the forums for a couple weeks, and think based on all the reading and research I have come up with what I think is a good starter system for around $1200 or so?
I have a 42 inch 1080p TV with a large living room, I am thinking of buying the STR-DG920 as I only want to worry about one cable going to my HDTV. I also want the ability to have full color, upscale of my currently low res Tivo TV (which I will be upgrading to HD soon). I have an X-box 360, PS3, Tivo and Wii I want to pipe through this bad boy.
I am also considering the Polk Monitor 30's, CS1 and I am thinking about the BIC H-100?
Anyone have somewhere that I could buy all that for with a goo deal, I don't need overnight shipping, I can wait if I can get a good price. Cheapest I have found the STR-DG920 is $519 with shipping so far, but they don't sell speakers. If we are not allowed to say someone to purchase from, a private message is fine? I am not clear on the forum rules on this.
