Pick the slides you wish to display before your movie, set the display time, music, and let it run.

What software is that exactly? Is it called MyPreMovie software?

Kudos and thank you for posting them. Also, thank you to the person generous enough to allow use of the bandwidth.

Thanks for the updates, very much appreciated!!!

These are great, I went ahead and ordered the 5 volumes of slides and videos from Steven Good, I just love the AVS community, no other online coomunity out there can come close to how creative, generous and supportive AVS members are. Very inspirational indeed, those cool slides and intros are what makes all the home theater construction and tidious framing and HT design well worth the effort, time, and money we put into these projects. I am more excited about watching Pixar and Coca Cola slides than the actual movie...hehe!

Hope you don't mind, just wanted to give this thread a bump for those who may have missed it the first time around. These slides are excellent!

The preview images look fantastic!

However the file seems to be missing from the hosting site. Would there be a new link to the file?

I just checked every link and they are working correctly.

I will be adding slides for "UP" once the movie makes it to the theatres...

Ah I was looking that link for the ZIP file that was posted!

Thank you again!

I just started to put my home theater together in a VERY small bedroom. These slides will be a perfect accessory to add to that room.
THANKS AGAIN!
I will be downloading these once I get home tonight!

I have a picture frame embedded in a wall panel. It sits flush. The effect and overall look is quite impressive.

I suggest reading through the thread about Coke slides. Many members offer their methods of display of these pre-show slides. Some use a 2nd DVD player. Some use an HTPC. Some use a thumb drive because their TV plays jpegs that way. Some use the Western Digital HD Media Player. Lots of options!

Good luck.

I keep getting a webpage not available error for these slides. Are the links broken?
Working fine now. Thanks!

Sorry guys. My web host updated my servers this past weekend. I think I've got them working again. Please let me know if you can't get to the slides.

I was able to create a movie in Windows Movie Maker of the slides and put a theme song from the movie behind each one...that is good if you want it to be specific for the movie itself and each movie can be it's own track - pop it in a DVD player after you do the burn and you have pre-show trivia on your big screen - even if the DVD only maxes @ 720x480, it still looks good on a decent DVD/Blu-ray player that has upconversion (PS3 for me or Oppo971)

You can also make a slideshow DVD in Windows DVD Maker by selecting the images (you can adjust the order) and putting background music behind them. Select a menu-less option with auto start and looping and you will have a continuous trivia show

Very cool! Thanks for the effort and hosting.

I found that making a picture slide show on a DVD did change the quality a little and the images for the movies darken up a little compared to the originals

I suggest DIVX conversion for HD format if you want to use them on a PS3 - the Divx converter is free for 7 days

Will you be adding UP to the slides?

Sorry guys, an undefeatable virus attacked my computer, so I had to reformat everything. Fortunately I did have backups of the Pixar templates etc. But the work I had done on Up was lost.

I will have another go at it soon, and will be posting them here for sure.
Ahh that sucks about the virus. I hope you didn't lose too much of your data. Thanks for making the slides, these are excellent.
