Isn't the info on the Oppo 83 in the chart in the first post completely wrong? I thought that chart would be kept up to date?

OK, I'm back ... for now.

The image in the first post of this thread captures the chart as of early March. adidino mentioned the community-drivern version which has two updates in June. So, yes, that live document (GoogleDocs) should be much more accurate. Unfortunately, Google doesn't have a nice "live-preview" that could be easily embedded in the first post of this thread. In the mean time, feel free to take a snapshot of the current file for the first post.

I been thinking about merging the read-only and editable versions of my chart. I've successfully done some similar work for the other GoogleDocs stuff I've got linked in my signature This Blu-Ray chart is just the next file in line. I'd like to get everything on a signle worksheet (HTIBs, standalone players, and BR+TV combos). I just don't yet have a clean instance.

Done. I also added the two Marantz models that have been announced.

The Sherwood 5003 should be changed from complete to Stream for all advanced codecs. The audio output should be changed to 2.0.

This player will only output 2 channel PCM down mix when set to PCM mode and only has 2 channel analog outputs so complete is not appropriate. Only when set to raw mode will it output a PCM 5.1 or PCM 7.1 track as multichannel PCM.

It does have an interesting feature that might warrant a new column in the table. It will re-code any codec to full rate DTS legacy.

TRUEHD 5.1, PCM 5.1, DD+ 5.1 is converted to DTS 5.1 1.536Mbps legacy for older receivers.

Doesn't the Pioneer BDP-320 bitstream DTS-MA? Why is it listed as Decode in the chart? (I have one on the way, so I am interested in this!)

As adidino's luck would have it, I sat down this afternoon and merged the contents of the read-only chart into the main document. There is now only one Blu-Ray Audio Specs chart! As far as I can tell, I've incorporate the changes listed here from the last few days.

Anyone feel like updating the availability of certain units? Quite a few were listed as Q2-2009 (or earlier). I'm sure that a numberof old units are now discontinued.

For the Sherwood 5003, the HDMI PCM max should still be listed as 7.1, since when set to RAW mode it will send a LPCM 7.1 signal as PCM 7.1 over HDMI.

Otherwise the changes for the Sherwood look good.

Just got the 390 and cant for the life of me successfully set up bit stream to my Pio elite 92. Can anyone tell me the correct setting so My receiver decodes the audio? Not matter what I do i cant gett he Dolby Truhd or DTS master aduio to light up on receiver. No such issues with my panny 60. Thanks!!

Also, doesn't the BDP-51FD decode and stream DTS-HD MA post FW 1.32 update?

I added the Momitsu BDP-899 to the list of 2.0 SA players. It is the only region free bluray player (just need to enter region free code via remote.)

The FW for this player will load on the Sherwood player and than the Sherwood gains Complete audio decode across the board. But the Profile 2.0 features don't work on the Sherwood due to lack of Ethernet and USB ports.

I hope I edited the chart correctly.

WH, those edits look fine to me. It inspired me to look up some 'formerly unknown profile' devices that I've determined are 2.0.

So, how about fixing the Pioneer BDP-320? It does not only decode DTS-MA, it bitstreams too. And from what I hear the 51d does too now after a firmware update.

The Analog #Channels for the Denon 3088 are listed as 5.1. Shouldn't that be 7.1? The Marantz 8002 which is a clone shows 7.1.

Can anyone confirm or provide a link?

What does the "F" in "Complete (F)" mean? Available via Firmware?

The PS3 Slim is complete accross the board, it has a different HDMI chipset.

pioneer 09 decodes hd master audio internaly now, has for a while.

No 7.1 or even 5.1 analog output on the new Vizio VBR 100.

Pioneer BDP-320 still listed as DTS-MA Decode instead of the proper Complete.

I think I've incorporated the changes mentioned here as well as the announcements from CEDIA.

I'll "archive" the editable version to a read-only worksheet in a week or so.

I must be doing something wrong. I tried to change the Denon 3800 to 7.1 analog using the edit link, however nothing changes on the chart that's on the first page of the thread.
