LaserVue projector, When? Who?

Does anyone know if there are laser based projector in development and which manufactures would have them?

I assume the delay will be more a patent and business decision delay than a technical one.

Even for the same price the fact that the light source is constant and doesn't need replacement will make such projector the preferred choice.

I share your boat.
Mits has already announced RPTVs this year, but it's looking more and more like 4th quarter before we see one. Good things really do take a little longer, so it seems.
As far as FP goes, someone, I forget who, had a private viewing of a FP prototype at CES last January.

TI showed a LED based FP prototype at Infocomm ( not the pocket / pico type, but a real 400ish lumen FP ) using the phatlight chipset. I've read posts here that Optoma is planning model using phatlight to be released sometime next year.

Are they selling 3 years parts & labor plus 5 years on the light source?
3,000 Lumens at 1080P HD? Released in June this year?

I'm interested!

3000 lumens, 1080p, probably not 3000 and under material.
