I don't know. This show might have jumped the shark for me.

If I'm hitch hiking, there's no chance I'm getting in a car driven by Rutgar Hauer.

LOL, The Hitcher anyone?

You have to admit, Jason isn't the sharpest guy in Bon Temps....biggrin.gif

I knew who that was driving the car even before Jason stepped in.....

I think it's fair to say Jason is the dullest knife in the batch.

Every year (probably every episode), his "wit" inspires some serious belly laughs from me....a total crack-up character.biggrin.gif

Moyer's directing style may have helped avoid the "meanwhile, back at the ranch" syndrome of the last few seasons when it came to handling multiple story lines. Sheriff Andy's little wake-up surprise was quite hilarious.

I still don't like the incest-like Pam and Tara...

Jason is the best guy ever.. the Sheriff is hilarious

How about real incest, Eric and Nora are brother and sister. They had a little fun last season....
IDK what is worse on vampire terms, mother-daughter or brother-sister

Say Bill didn't have any interest in her vampire daughter at all, just to protect her like a real father

Only in the sense that they had the same "maker." Not related otherwise.

Didn't know that.

Solid season opener, Bill's abilities are interesting, curious to see where they go.

Layfette is still a highlight of this show, but only in small doses. When they focused a whole story line on him, I didn't enjoy his character as much as when he is there, supporting others. His character cracks me up.

Jason is hilarous, odd how he spilled everything that has happened to a complete stranger but he is still funny as all get out.

Yeah I knew it was Worlow (sp?) when Jason stepped into the car..

I wonder what's the meaning of more "Lilliths" merging into Bill

Loved Pam's one liners also, she actually said Billith

Both are the reason we all love him so much!

For haters of blood-suckers and brain-eaters, it's good to know the Feds are in the game:

I thought he was going to be Niall too.

If it wasn't for the gratuitous bOObies and rugs as well as cute chicks, I'd have not bothered with this show. Also again, poor Pam...

I was holding my tongue on this wondering if anyone would bring it up. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
So, apparently those who "knew" it was Warlow may be in for a surprise. wink.gifWarning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

The books have almost no relation to the show. If you've read the books, you know who Niall is according to the books but probably nothing about Niall according to the series. If have haven't read the books, you don't know anything about Niall so its not exactly a spoiler other than a casting question.

The reason I asked was because of Rutger describing his role some time ago.

OK, so much for that little mystery wink.gif

I was okay with some of the over-the-top cheesiness, bad acting, incoherent plot points, etc., because at least the show could be bat-**** entertaining in places (and Jessica!), but last night's show was just a bore. Especially coming on the heels of Game of Thrones, this looks like a month-old badger corpse on the side of the road in comparison.

My wife and I are definitely on the verge of dumping this show.

Is it bad that the show you're talking about just aired yesterday and I can't even remember what happened in the episode?

Yeah, I think that's bad.

That's been my problem with the show for years. That said, I've been invested in the last couple of eps in the vamp and Sookie storyline. Interested in the war, want to see some resolution with Worlow, like Fairy Grandpa, etc. Would love to see them flush the were's even if Sam has to go too. I'm amused by the fairy toddlers. At least we're not jumping between 10 storylines. The show is running out of gas, yes, but I'll still watch if it keeps it's current shape.
