Jessica, Jessica...why crush Jason so?

Sookie, WTF?

Poor Arlene can't catch a break.
Norah, meh...
Bill and Eric will do some damage, but neither are smart enough to get by (ultimately) by anything but luck...that's the way the show is written.
Jessica should have pulled a train in front of Jason...she thinks she deserves it and he having an IQ below 80 deserves it just because we've had to sit through his idiotic storylines for all these season.
Sookie is always WTF...
Arlene? Please kill her off along with Sam, Alcide, Sam's dad, Lafayette and everyone else that generally pisses me off by wasting space...and that's most everyone else.

I'd much prefer this to become "Dinner with Andre"...a couple of vamps waxing wise about the great upheavals gone by...after everyone's dead...and laughing about it.

One of the most boring episodes of True Blood that I've ever watched last night.
episode was pretty weak...Norah's death had little to no impact because she's a relative newbie who never really connected with me...I do like the new vampire, James...he has great chemistry with Jessica...the whole insurance policy thing was so corny because it's only going to be used as a way for the characters to not pursue Terry's killer...because if they do then the insurance policy becomes void because it was a suicide

are they doing a killing a week now?...last week Terry, this week Norah...maybe they are building to the 'big' death of a major character

Hopefully it's Sookie.
Not going to miss Norah, she was wayyyy too much of a prude for a guest star.

Too bad they couldn't have turned Terry into a vampire instead of Tara, what a waste of vampire blood.

Somehow I think the new dirty hippie vampire is going to die quickly to give Jessica something to cry about.

Is it wrong that I cared more about Norah's demise than Terry's? biggrin.gif

Nora's death was well done...her dissolving into goo was excellent...CGI was in top form...did Anna Paquin actually go full frontal??...she must be really proud of losing all that weight after giving birth to twins last September...Jessica also did a bit of semi-nudity last night

Her lower half was blurred.

it wasn't blurred...HBO doesn't blur/censor...the blur was probably because of the way that the fairly land is shot it looks a bit out of focus and grainy...after taking a closer look (for research purposes only) it looks like Sookie crosses her legs so as to not expose herself fully but it was very close

Jason: "Do you have stockholder syndrome?"

Apparently HBO has as maybe this show has become nothing more than a paycheck for the production crew. "Meanwhile back at the ranch." biggrin.gif

Yes, it was blurred. As she begins to rise you can clearly see the blur..... This is not an HBO censor, it was probably an Anna Paquin demand....

if Anna Paquin had a no full frontal clause then HBO would never have shot that particular scene with her lady parts almost exposed...they would not shoot it and then blur it out...HBO doesn't work that way...re-watching it now and it's hard to tell how they did it but I think it has more to do with the position of her body so not to fully expose everything along with the fairy land grainy/muted color scheme...I wasn't referring to the scene when she rises up but rather when she's lying down with Ben/Warlow...when she rises she is wearing flesh (or maybe pink) underwear

And another scene of a girl having sex with her bra on. Because that happens....like, never.* rolleyes.gif

*except in TV shows where female actors have no-nudity clauses.

yeah that was definitely because of her no nudity clause...but at least she sort of showed a bit more skin last night then usual (from the waist down she was nude but it was covered up by the camera angle and it was a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot)

If you are a researcher, how can I get your job?

Perhaps, but legs for days and imagination keeps us hangin' on.
Body double in some scenes?

Funny how Mrs. Anna gives us everything but the final item and we're concerned
with fuzzy monkey or......Norelco wink.gif

I thought Nora had a good death scene, with some good acting on Skarsgard's part; he doesn't get the chance to show much range too often as Eric. I think it's pretty funny that Tara, the youngest vampire on this show, is supposed to intimidate any of those other vamps in gen pop.

One thing I'm noticing about the episodes this season, they are running fairly long, a lot of times right up to the one hour mark. They're doing what the Game of Thrones producers said they would do last season, only carrying through. Not to put True Blood on GoT's level or anything. Lol

So if these guards are always watching through openings, even with the Dr. talking to Pam (and they showed in a pervious episode the vents opening in his office), how in the world would they of let Pam rush over to him, jump on him, grab him, lif thim up and throw him onto the bed? And if they did, why doesn't Pam and all the others just kill him and everyone else the same way because the guards aren't doing anything. They have shown how fast they can snap a neck. If they let you get that close, kill them.

I was honestly surprised when the preview said only 3 episodes left. To me it feels like the season just started and now it's almost done.

I must have missed that. Is there a specific reason for only 10 episodes this year instead of the normal 12.

Caught me by surprise as well. I think I've spent the season waiting for it to get going so I didn't see this coming at all.

http://screenrant.com/true-blood-season-6-short-10-episodes/

"We’re moving production to January to accommodate her. And there will only be 10 shows next season partly because of Anna and partly because of the economics."
next season will also only be 10 episodes...they are mainly doing it for budgetary reasons...might also be that they feel 10 episodes will be less filler and more story
post #3450 of 3651
I like that they are shrinking the cast. We've lost emma(and grandma), Nora, terry, the governor(not a multi season character), and possibly Alcide/Sams girlfriend depending on what happens the rest of the season. If the pack kills Alcide(hopefully) we can be done with the wolves as a whole.
