Panasonic TC32LX700 vs. Sony Bravia 37KDL37L4000

It's between my HDTV, the 120Hz 720P 32" Panasonic LX700 or the Sony Bravia 37KDL37L4000 which is a new 2008 model but does not sport 1080P nor 120hz like my current HDTV. I want to go with the bigger size though and the Sony brand will match my PS3 nicely. The Sony HDTV is on sale and is only $899

Thanks for any help! I need to know by tonight please, I am picking it up tomorrow

Look into the panasonic LZ85 and LZ800 line as well. Panasonic uses ips-alpha panels which have far less motion blur and lag than the sony or other tvs... even 120hz smears more than a ips tv.

yeah if you are going high end go Panny, I don't know why they don't get all the gush that Sammy does? They are just all around better sets.

I got the panasonic LX700 and this is the only set that doesnt drive me nuts with the motion blur and crappy 120hz implementation from the other brands. I hope Pany keeps making IPS tv's because they work for me and of course it might not work others. Go look at the tv models you planning to buy its the only way to know. Its the best $820 bucks ive ever spent on a TV.

looks like I'll be keeping my HDTV but I've got to admit the Sony XBR4 32" 1080P set looks great for games but the Lx700 is better for movies
