I would like to be able to remote my Itunes audio collection on my PC over to my home theater stereo system. My PC and HT are in different rooms though. Does anyone know of a wireless product that I could use to do this?
Do you already have a WiFi network setup? If so, you might want to take a look at the Linksys Music Bridge. It basically shows up in your computer as another audio card, so it will work with Itunes or any other piece of software that will output audio on your computer.
Another product to consider is the Squeezebox (or Squeezebox Duet) http://www.slimdevices.com/pi_duet.html. I have the Duet and am happy with it. The Duet has a wireless remote with an Ipod type display that shows your available music (including album cover if available) and allows remote control anywhere in your house.
You can, of course, easily add a wireless router to you PC for a wireless connection.
