I'm very new to the board. Started reading it a couple weeks ago when I was looking for a new reciever. Signed up and started posting in the hk354-ps3 thread jsut becuase I'm hoping for a solution to present itself.
For the time being it doesn't appear a solution is going to present itself and the 354 will be going back to the store next week.
I was originally considering the 2808 against the 354 but have decided if I go the denon route I would like the network capability of the 3808.
I've fallen in love with the look and sound (when it works right) of the 354. I know that none of the denons have the look worthy of taking center stage in my living room but can anyone compare thier sound quality with the HKs? I know its subjective but I'd like some input.
Will be used only for watching tv/movies and playing games (PS3 for both movies and games). Would add internet radio and mp3s if I had the 3808.
No I can't read through near 10,000 posts about the 3808. Looking for a shortcut.
Current delima is return the 354 and go back to the old sony until HK gets thier stuff together or drop a few extra bucks and go with the 3808.
