PT-AX200U with Universal mount from Visual Apex

Hello everyone! Just trying to get my FIRST front projector setup and have a quick question about the ceiling mount that I purchased from Visual Apex.

I bought the Panasonic PT-AX200U and a universal projector mount (Abtus AV817) and it appears that the extension arms (2-100mm AND 2-50mm) that come with it isn't going to position the mount over the center of gravity of the projector. Being that this is my first installation I could have the center of gravity wrong, though!

Has anyone used this mount to ceiling mount a PT-AX200U and did you have any problems?

Also, my ceiling is 9' tall and the mount only comes down from the ceiling about 6" and the manual states that the projector has a vertical lens shift of 63% of the height of the screen. With my projector mounted about 12.5' back is that going to allow for enough shift so my 92" screen doesn't have to be mounted too high on the wall?

Thanks for any help or information you can provide!!

James.

The link below will bring you to a nice calculator:

http://www.projectorcentral.com/Pana...ulator-pro.htm

It says lens c/l needs to be 5.8" below top of screen in ceiling mount. Add that to the rest of the case width and your mount height, that will tell you where the top of the screen needs to be.
