Help with new 5.1 system / Spend my money!

Hello,
I have been scouring the forums for different reviews and recommendations and figured I would just ask for what I am trying to find. The trouble I am running into is there is just a ton of great reviews and recommendations to pull from. I figured I would ask all you for a personalized recommendation.

The type of system I want is going to be 85% for Movies/TV. But for musical taste it would primarily be Hard Rock/Metal, hints of jazz, r&b, and the occasional hip hop. I like a well balanced speaker with very clear highs and *sometimes* big-boomy lows.

I currently have a HK AVR-247. Not the greatest as far as power goes so I have been keeping that in mind. My living room is roughly 25x15 with vaulted ceilings.

I want to go with an ID (but am slightly open to b&m stores) and want to spend Around $1,000 with a MAXIMUM of 2,000 if I can really justify an extra 1000 will get me that value.

I have been looking at many systems from many vendors, I am not going to list all of the models but I am looking for:

Floorstading Mains
Bi/Dipolar surrounds
Center and Sub.

There are many vendors that can suit this pricing:
AV123 X-series
Axiom Epic 50's
Aperion's (but that is looking like a budget buster)
Athena Audition series
Swan Diva's

Newly found
BIC Acoustech's
The Speaker Company's new T-series floorstanders, but I have looked high and low and found nothing describing their sound.

SO, I am looking for all the help I can get before I actually purchase one, then find out I should have gotten the other one!

You can try them out and return them within 30 days if you don't like 'em.

That's the problem, a few of them offer this, and I don't want to trial 4 different setups.

All of them are great companies and I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. That's the reason why there are so many great reviews. Of course, every speaker will vary in sound and certain speakers will sound better to others. BUT FOR ME....when most things are nearly equal, I go with the best bang for the buck. At this time, the best bang (imho) is the Swan Diva 6.1 Faux Black Cherry at http://www.ozhometheater.com/ozht_pr...orstanding.htm
That would be the system I would buy if I was buying today...but that just me. For around $1500ish is a great deal for a 5.0 Swan Diva 6.1 and then cap it off with the MFW 15 for your sub.
